Friends of the Hammock of Dunedin Inc. is a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of The Hammock Park in Dunedin, Florida.
In 1995, the Friends of the Hammock (TFOH) was established to help preserve the natural state of the park for future generations through public involvement, public support and public education. TFOH is 100% volunteer led and relies heavily on membership fees to fund its education programs, maintenance efforts and capital improvements.
Membership benefits include:
Advance registration for Second Saturday Education Programs and Volunteer Opportunities, prior to the general public.
Email newsletter featuring articles and photos on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, capital improvements and feature stories on the wildlife, plant communities and ecosystems in the park.
Printed annual report and annual meeting.
Corporate members have the opportunity to extend these benefits to their employees, conduct company volunteer events, and invest in sponsorship of education programs.
